Going to a new church can be an uncomfortable experience. So here is a quick overview of what you can expect when you’re a guest at PCF, we hope it makes you feel more comfortable.
First of all, we have guest parking in the front center lot. We want our guests to have the best parking spot available!
We have one service on Sunday mornings at 10:00AM.
Upon entering you will be greeted by an awesome volunteer who will be holding the door for you and you may pick up your bulletin containing upcoming events & more information about our church at the Welcome Desk. All of our first time guests receive a free gift so make sure you let our welcome desk attendant know that it’s your first time at PCF!
We have programs for children 0-11 after worship and during our sermon! Make sure you check-in your children at the Welcome Desk so the drop-off time runs a little smoother. You can also download the Church Center App and register your kids from your phone.
Next, you can find a seat anywhere in the Worship Center. Prior to the beginning of the service there will be a countdown so you know when things will begin. One of our Pastors will welcome everyone and pray for our service and then our worship band will begin playing.
The worship band will lead us in three to four more songs that are Christ-centered and relevant. The words are displayed on the screens and everyone is encouraged to sing along. Some people will clap their hands, raise their hands to God, or offer other biblical expressions of praise. Children are welcomed to participate as well.
Following worship, a pastor or someone on our Leadership Team will lead us in prayer, & announcements.
The nursery is available throughout the entire service. PCF KIDS begins after prayer & announcements. We have a dedicated program for 2 & 3 year olds, 4 – 6 year olds & 7 – 11 year olds. The 7-11 group is welcome to go to the gym behind the sanctuary, and the 2-3’s & 4-6’s will check-in (& check out) with their parent/guardian downstairs.
The sermon is next. We offer biblical preaching with real life application. Sermon points are displayed on the screens and a page to take your own notes is included in the bulletin. The sermons are also available on our website & wherever you listen to podcasts.
Our service lasts around the same time as a movie.(1hr 30min) Following the service coffee is available in the Welcome Center for some time of connecting & relaxing. Parents, please remember to pick up your children.
For additional community, we offer Small Groups during the week (Starting in September). In these small groups we will be growing together & connecting with each other. You can learn more about PCF’s Small Groups by clicking HERE.
